Don't Miss an Evening of Aloha with the Makaha Sons from Hawaii with Special Guests - The Children’s Ukulele Ensemble directed by Melanie Doane
Hawaii's treasured Makaha Sons have performed for U.S. Presidents, with Jake Shimabukuro and at sold-out concerts around the world - including Carnegie Hall - and they're coming to Toronto.
Check out this video for a sample!!
On September 30 and October 1, the Makaha Sons will be hosting two nights of traditional Hawaiian music and entertainment including a special performance by the Children's Ukulele Ensemble, a group of 3rd year students from Toronto's Wilkinson Junior School, directed by Melanie Doane.
Net proceeds from both concerts will be donated to our Children's Ukulele Program so that more students can have the opportunity to learn Hawaii's national instrument.
Come out and support this wonderful cause and enjoy a family-friendly evening of light-hearted Hawaiian music, dancing and entertainment at the beautiful Japanese Cultural Centre.
A group discount is available for blocks of 10 or more tickets and for purchasing tickets to both shows.
