Chapters Night Fundraiser for John English Thursday, Nov. 8
Mark Thursday, November 8th from 6 to 9 pm on your calendar – it is Chapters Night for John English. Get a jump on your Holiday shopping! (Chapters donates a percentage from each sale to John English.) Our night will be held at Chapters on the Queensway across from Sherway Gardens.
Scholastic Book Fair November 12 – 16 – Volunteers needed!
This is an awesome opportunity for kids to purchase books from Scholastic at great prices. There will be an English and a French book sale.

1st Annual Mimico Pumpkin Parade

Say farewell to Halloween with an enchanting evening. The Mimico-by-the-Lake BIA invites you to bring your Jack-O-Lanterns to light up Mimico Square and the pathway leading to Amos Waites Park on Thursday, November 1st beginning at 6pm. Please bring your own candles. Volunteers will be on hand to assist in lighting the pumpkins. Pumpkins will be collected by the City of Toronto the following morning. TDSB Parent Engagement Conference – Nov.17, 2012

The TDSB`s 6th Annual Parent Involvement Makes a Difference Conference: “Parent Engagement and the Achievement Gap”.
We are seeking assistance in recommending 2 parents/guardians to attend the conference. Our goal is to have a representative from each school across our system, including adult and alternative schools. Parents/guardians may register at www.tdsb.on.ca/
